Terms of Service

Tindra is operated by Ashmark Studio LLC ("Ashmark Studio LLC", "we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing to or using Tindra you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Tindra is a browser-based application for co-writing novels with AI assistance, available at app.tindra.ink. A subscription grants you a license that activates the application on your account for the duration of your subscription.

2. Purchases and billing

Subscriptions are sold through Stripe, our merchant of record. Stripe handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal inside Tindra; access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Free trial

New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

4. Your content

Everything you write or generate in Tindra belongs to you. Your work is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it syncs; we store only ciphertext we cannot read, and we do not claim any rights to your manuscripts.

5. Third-party AI providers

Tindra connects to AI providers through OpenRouter, and optionally to ElevenLabs and SerpAPI, using API keys you supply. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, and usage costs are billed to you by them directly. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with your providers' policies.

6. Account and access restrictions

You may not resell, share, or redistribute access to your subscription, or attempt to circumvent the subscription gate. We may suspend accounts involved in abuse or fraud.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Tindra is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim. Always keep backups of your work using the built-in export tools.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
